Water Damage Leads to Indoor Mushrooms
We've spoken many times about how a water leak or a flood can lead to mold growing in a home or business, but sometimes things can get even worse. The before photo in this case shows the kitchen of a Green Bay area home with actual mushrooms sprouting out of the floors (along with mold, the more traditional fungus). The mushrooms are the patches of brown. The home was unoccupied when the boiler broke, leading to extensive damage. SERVPRO of West Brown County came in and dried out the building, removed walls and flooring materials that were covered in fungus and cleaned everything. After our work, the owner was able to rebuild, which is what you see in the after photo.
